This Policy applies to the Service, the trackscout.net website, and any related applications operated by the Company. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service processes geographic locations you submit as part of route planning (start points, destinations, waypoints, regions of interest). We do not continuously track your real-time GPS location, and the Service does not run in the background on your device.
If you sign in using Google, we receive the basic profile information you authorize Google to share (name, email, profile picture). We do not receive your Google password.
We use the information we collect to:
Authorized Company personnel may access your account information, conversation content, generated routes, and usage data to operate, support, secure, and improve the Service. Specifically, this access may occur to:
Internal access is limited to personnel with a legitimate business need and is subject to confidentiality obligations. We do not read user conversations for purposes outside those described in this Policy.
We share information with third-party service providers that help us operate the Service. Each is bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations and may only use the information for the purposes we direct.

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you and, where required, seek your consent.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not have advertising networks or third-party tracking pixels embedded in the Service.
TrackScout's core feature is a conversational AI route-planning agent. When you send a message:
Conversations are retained while your account is active. You may delete individual conversations at any time from the Service interface, or delete your entire account as described in Section 8.
We may use de-identified or aggregated conversation data to improve our prompts, retrieval, and route-generation logic. We do not provide raw conversation content to third parties for the purpose of training their AI models.
When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal data within thirty (30) days, except where retention is required by law or necessary to enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Note that the Service is hosted in the United States; using it means your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, hashed passwords, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at trackscout@blackholeindustries.com of any suspected unauthorized access to your account.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the United States and any other country where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a prominent notice in the Service at least thirty (30) days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
